An unforgettable journey through the war years, tracing the story of WWII through iconic songs of the day performed in character by some of the favorite voices of the day, including the Andrews Sisters and Vera Lynn. Waltz through the 1940s with such favorites as "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," "I'll be Seeing You," "There'll Be Bluebirds over the White Cliffs of Dover," "When the Lights Go On Again," and many more. Hear first-hand, in-character accounts of how songs of the era kept hope alive during WWII and see how they inspire still today.
Sentimental Journey: Fort Knox includes our full Classic Version of the show PLUS an additional 15 minutes of exclusive Ft. Knox characters and photos. Weaving the story of the war with original photos, stories, and characters from the Ft. Knox of WWII. Visit the Ft. Knox of 1945 with Service Club hostess Grace Whitney and entertainer Judy Garland and learn how entertainers helped "Bring the Boys Home" at Ft. Knox, Kentucky.
