Note: Due to health concerns, the Brown Pusey House is currently putting a hold on programing. Please contact them or Encore History for information on a future date.

Public performance of our newest show, Laura Clay: The Making of Kentucky’s Leading Suffragist, commissioned by and performed at Elizabethtown Kentucky’s historic Brown Pusey House.

Saturday, March 28, 7:00 PM EST. Dessert Theater open to the public.

Based on the journals and letters of Laura Clay, this one-woman show brings to life Laura Clay, the South's most famous women's rights activist during the Woman’s Suffrage movement. Debuting for Women in History Month 2020 during the centennial year of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, this show uses costume, drama, and song to tell the story of the struggle for women’s rights in the words of one of the movement’s most honorable and pivotal workers.
